We drew inspiration from the visual manifestation of the SMRT’s brand manifesto — where circles, roundels, and arcs represent connection, care and continuity. These forms in the annual report From Strength to Strength: Building a Resilient Future, echo a journey shaped by people and powered by purpose.

Inspired by the brand’s Kaizen spirit, the design flows seamlessly across photojournalistic spreads, data insights, and dividers — with each arc symbolising resilience in progress.

At the centre of it all are its people — who are the strength behind every improvement, every milestone. Together, they move forward, closing loops and opening paths toward a resilient, people-first future.
